The St. Andrew Catholic Church Family Fun Carnival is in full swing. It runs until January 29.

It would be hard not to have a good time at this event being held at the church. There are 23 rides, a wide variety of games, traditional carnival food and a beer garden for the adults.

“This is our biggest fundraiser for the year,” said Tara Bartos, a fifth grade teacher at the St. Andrew Catholic School. She was helping run the Carnival on Friday night. We have been promoting this event since November. All the money we raise goes to the school.”

Bartos enjoys being a part of the Carnival. “I really love this event,” said Bartos. “It brings all the families together. The kids really love this carnival.”

Julianna Restrepo was among a group of her friends who attend St. Thomas Aquinas High School. They were all having a good time at the Carnival. “This is really fun. It is like a family reunion.”

Gabrille Gentile,  was among the group. She also attends St. Thomas. “I really like this carnival,” she said. “It is fun to be with friends.”
