The Parkland Intermediate Little League team finishes runner-up in national tournament in California.

Sunday, July 31st we played our first game and beat the East regional champs (from North Vineland, New Jersey) 5-1. 

:: Monday, August 1st we played the West regional champs (from Central East Maui, Hawaii) and won 5-4 in extra innings.

:: Wednesday, August 3rd we played the California District 57 champs (Tassajara Valley, Danville, California) and won 2-0.

:: Saturday, August 8th we played a rematch with the West regional champs, this time for the United States championship and we lost 5-3.

:: The team that beat us, the West regional champs (from Central East Maui, Hawaii), who we had beaten earlier in the week, went on to beat Asia-Pacific (from West Seoul, South Korea) to win the Intermediate Little League World Series.  So the eventual champs are the team we had beaten 5-4 in extra innings on Monday, August 1st


The final standings for the Parkland Little League team is the runner-up to the U.S. champs.
