Many families in South Florida struggle to provide shoes for their children. Members of the In Jacob’s Shoes organization participated in the recent Health Festival in Pompano Beach and handed out shoes to families with children who are about to start school.
“We want to help families who are in need,” said Murray Zweig.
The Zweig family is providing shoes in memory of the late Jacob Zweig who was known for a willingness to care for others
“He would give his shoes to a person who needed them,” said his sister Alicia Zweig. “We want to help the community.”
Over the years, In Jacob’s Shoes has distributed more than 80,000 shoes in the community.
