The City of Parkland (City) has set-up WiFi hot spots in Pine Trails Park and Terramar Park to enable visitors to the parks the advantage of free Internet access to surf the web and enhance their park experience.  Whether registering for park activities, keeping kids occupied while a big brother or sister plays in a game, or live-tweeting your child’s accomplishments—Parkland parks have you covered.
The hot spots are located in the center of the baseball wheel in both Pine Trails and Terramar parks and atop the concession stands (in Pine Trails Park the concession stand nearest the baseball fields).  When using your smart phone, touch pad, or computer, the hotspots will be identified as “Parkland Public WiFi.”
For those who frequent Eats ‘N Beats—the City’s monthly music series at the Parkland Amphitheatre at Pine Trails Park—you can now find menus from the 20 food trucks that are present for each concert night and determine your order while still in your lawn chair enjoying the music.
