Corey Gaynor has loved being a part of the Stoneman Douglas High School football team during the past four years. His hard work has paid off and he is now getting ready to play for the University of Minnesota next fall. He weighs 290, is 6.4 and bench presses 365 pounds and squats 50o pounds.

“I have enjoyed being a part of the Stoneman Douglas team,” said Gaynor. “To be a good lineman you need to have controlled anger, you have to be lean and athletic. It takes a of hard work to be a good football player. This has been the best four years of my life. If I do well as a football player at the University of Minnesota, I may be get to play a lot earlier in my college career.”

The Eagles have struggled at times during the season. They are 3 and 4 going into a game against J.P.Taravella. The team has some good players. Offensive Guard Courtney Douglas will play for Stetson next fall. Riley Allison, a junior is doing well at running back. DaQuan Bailey Brown and Tai Lihito are playing well at wide receiver.
