Coral Springs Mayor Skip Campbell asked voters to approve the penny sales tax that would raise sales taxes from six to seven cents in Broward County. He believes it will allow tourists to help pay for big improvements to Broward County. Campbell said if the tax passes, some of the money that will come to Coral Springs will go toward a new auditorium at Coral Glades High School.

Also, there was a presentation on the University Drive Widening project which will likely become a reality in 2022.
