Election day is November 8 but people can vote early in Coral Springs at the Northwest Regional Library near the intersection of Sample Road and University Drive. Of course people are talking about Trump and Clinton but you can meet local candidates at the library. The one contested race in Coral Springs is between Larry Vignola and Karen Jones for a seat on the commission. Mayor Skip Campbell and Commissioner Joy Carter did not draw opponents.

“We have seen a nice turnout for early voting,” said Vignola. He is a strong supporter of recreational programs in Coral Springs and has worked on the expressway connecting the Sawgrass Expressway to I-95. He is an incumbent and wants to continue working to make Coral Springs a great place to live, work and do business.

Opponent Karen Jones wants to bring back police substations, improve the parks and encourage fiscal responsibility.
