The City of Parkland (City) launched a newly designed website ( late yesterday that dramatically upgrades the City’s online appearance and customer service.  The new design has both the look and feel of the City that is the self-proclaimed “great northwest of Broward County.”

“The look of the new site is the most obvious enhancement,” said Ned Franklin, IT Manager for the City, “but the functionality and user-friendly navigation on computers and mobile devices alike is a sizable leap forward for us.”  “These improvements are driven by our Commission’s desire to provide resources and service to our residents and we feel like we’ve taken a big step in that direction” he said.

The redesign was done by Manhattan, Kansas-based CivicPlus.  Features on Parkland’s new website include quick access to interactive City maps, fully ADA-compliant features, and large backdrop images that fit the look and feel of the City showcasing stone, foliage, water, and neatly-manicured landscapes.  These images will continue to be rotated through the site to provide an aesthetically-pleasing backdrop to improved site navigation and enhanced information.
