The City of Parkland (City) launched a newly designed website (www.cityofparkland.org) late yesterday that dramatically upgrades the City’s online appearance and customer service.  The new design has both the look and feel of the City that is the self-proclaimed “great northwest of Broward County.”

“The look of the new site is the most obvious enhancement,” said Ned Franklin, IT Manager for the City, “but the functionality and user-friendly navigation on computers and mobile devices alike is a sizable leap forward for us.”  “These improvements are driven by our Commission’s desire to provide resources and service to our residents and we feel like we’ve taken a big step in that direction” he said.

The redesign was done by Manhattan, Kansas-based CivicPlus.  Features on Parkland’s new website include quick access to interactive City maps, fully ADA-compliant features, and large backdrop images that fit the look and feel of the City showcasing stone, foliage, water, and neatly-manicured landscapes.  These images will continue to be rotated through the site to provide an aesthetically-pleasing backdrop to improved site navigation and enhanced information.
