The Coral Springs wrestling team finished second place in the Coral Springs Duels. The Colts lost to McArthur High School.

“It never feels good to finish second but we have a lot of potential. We have a young team and we should do well,” said Coach Dan Jacob.

Jacob has been the Coral Springs wrestling coach for 29 years and has amassed a 486-72-2 record. He is now also the athletic director.

Coral Springs has produced some great wrestlers over the years. One good wrestler who will only get better is Mark Raiden. He is a sophomore and wrestles at the 113 pound weight class. He has won 104 matches for the Colts and participated in the state meet last year.  “I was introduced to wresting at a young age and I love it. I hope to continue getting better,” he said.
