The City of Coral Springs dedicated a renovated and expanded Crime Scene Investigation Building. The expansion added a second floor and elevator to the building. This allows for an increase in lab space for CSI processing and evidence storage on the first floor and additional office space on the second level.

The dedication event included a ribbon cutting and members of the Coral Springs Commission spoke on the benefits of the new CSI building. Mayor Skip Campbell said, “This new building shows we respect the work that law enforcement is doing in Coral Springs,” said Campbell.

Vice Mayor Dan Daley also praised the law enforcement personnel that work in the CSI building. “We have top tier employees working here,” he said.

Police Chief Tony Pustizzi said the Police Department will benefit from the newly renovated building. There will be cutting edge technology and places for law enforcement to conduct investigations.
