The City of Coral Springs is taking proactive steps to replace the City’s aging infrastructure to prevent costly sewer and water line breaks.
As part of an investment in the City’s downtown area, a new water main is being installed on Coral Hills Drive. Work is scheduled to being on Coral Hills Drive on Monday, January 16 until approximately mid-February. During this time, no northbound traffic will be permitted along Coral Hills Drive, between 31st Court and Sample Road. The contractor will return during the summer, to mill and resurface Coral Hills Drive.
The project is part of the City’s downtown water and sewer improvements that entails removing pipes more than 50 years old and replacing them with large-capacity water and sewer mains to prepare for a growing and revitalized downtown.
