This is a call out to our wonderful JP Taravella DECA/Academy of Finance and Academy of Marketing business partners who may be available to help our students prepare for state competition!  This year, we will be taking 35 students to state competition, and they will compete in a wide ranges of areas from marketing research presentations to role playing situations.  They are very excited to have you involved in their preparation and potential trip to International Competition in Anaheim, California (with 15,000 other teens).

Included among the presentations our students will give are our two chapter projects, about which we are very proud!  Our Community Service” project promotes Crisis Text Line and our Financial Literacy Project partners with Brightstar Credit Union. Our students would love the opportunity to share their presentations with you, and get your feedback so that they can impress their judges at DECA States March 2-5!

Our 2017 DECA Role Play Days, at Taravella High in Rooms 208 & 210, are set for Tuesday, February 21st (First-year students and Individual Events) and Wednesday, February 22nd  (Written projects and Team Events)  from 2:45 to 4:45.

We need a minimum of 15 judges each day and would love to have you for both, if possible. Remember, this is not a competition among our students, but a simulated state role-play activity.  Your feedback after their one on one business situation will be a huge benefit to these students.  After the student has tried to solve a business situation in a case study, or presented their research findings or project activities, your feedback is so valuable to them, as they NEVER get feedback from actual competition.
