The Coral Springs administration has begun the process of preparing the existing City Hall site for redevelopment. During a recent meeting, Coral Springs leaders approved a request to approve the plat which includes about 4.4 acres of property owned by the City and the Sunshine Water District. A developer can build commercial buildings, office and high rise residential buildings on the site. This is part of the northwest section of the Coral Springs downtown section. Coral Springs leaders are now in the process of rewriting downtown zoning district regulations.
