Following an extensive national search, the City of Coral Springs has named Robert Curnow as Director of Information Technology. Curnow recently served as Interim IT Director for the City of Coral Springs. Previously, he was the Infrastructure Manager since 2012, where he managed city-wide strategic and operational technology plans based on the needs of the City.
“We are pleased to have Bob as our new director of Information Technology. We look forward to leveraging his experience and expertise to enhance City technology and better serve our customers,” Interim City Manager Tony Pustizzi said.
Prior to working for the City of Coral Springs, Bob was a Systems Network Analyst III for Broward County Water and Wastewater Service and was a Systems Administrator for the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
“I am truly honored to have been chosen as the Director of Information Services with the City of Coral Springs. Having proudly served this great City and its residents for over five years, I look forward to leading an innovative and technology inspired future here!” Curnow said.
Curnow has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and is expected to graduate with a Masters in Public Administration in December 2017. Both degrees are from Barry University.
