Band is always a very popular activity at Coral Springs High School. Many students join because they can practice and perform music and make friends, some of those friendships last a lifetime. Brett Dawson is proud of this year’s Marching Colts and hopes they will do well in competitions and assessments involving larger high schools.  “We need to stay focused. A lot of students join the band because they can make friends and perform music,” said Dawson.

Also, this year the Coral Springs High School Marching band has new uniforms, the first since 2001. The band parents led an effort that raised $35,000 and the school matched this amount with $35,000. The band purchased 175 uniforms.

The Coral Springs Marching band has done well in marching and performance assessments over the years and also performs well during half time shows.
