DECA2015

Advisors Jamie Simmons, Lauri Acosta and Sandra Wilder would like to thank you all for your support of DECA activities as we return from a very successful state competition.

20 of the 51 students won trophies and qualified for International Competition in Orlando at the end of April (no A.P. conflict!).  We are proud of the effort of all JPT competitors.

Students cited the businesspeople, parents, and JPT DECA alumni who volunteered their time as judges in our Role Play Day as a big factor in their success. Their time invested in study packets and Competitive Edge booklets also contributed (along with what they learned in their classes at JPT!).

Mr. Cerra, on his eighth DECA state conference, was extremely impressed and proud of their performance and level of “family” displayed among our chapter members. He is a huge part of our program’s success.
